Action-Oriented Approach – Plurilingualism – Interculturality

For a Shared and Plural Future

API Education Forum – Forum for Action-Oriented, Multilingual and Intercultural Education is an international association bringing together teachers, trainers, researchers and education professionals around a shared goal: to build a more inclusive, plural and practice-grounded education. Like the bee—hardworking, collaborative and essential to the balance of ecosystems—the API Forum values the diversity of knowledge, the circulation of languages and the cross-pollination of ideas. The Forum is a space for dialogue and co-construction where pedagogical resources and academic work circulate, settle and transform—nurturing a living, collective and engaged approach to education.

Our Mission

To promote multilingual, intercultural and action-oriented education by supporting the transmission of knowledge, linguistic equity and collaboration among education stakeholders. Like a pedagogical beehive, the Forum brings energies together, fosters interaction, and produces accessible and shareable resources.

Our Vision

We envision an educational world where every language matters, every learner is recognised, and cultural diversity becomes a shared source of enrichment. An education in which pedagogical practices—like the collaborative work of bees—collectively build a sustainable, supportive and democratic learning ecosystem.

Participate in Events and Conferences

Each API Forum gathering is a unique opportunity to exchange perspectives, share practices and advance collective reflection.

Submit a proposal, join a network of committed professionals, and draw inspiration from initiatives from around the world.

Our events are open to teachers, trainers, researchers, students and all those interested in education. Together, let us foster a more equitable, dynamic and diverse education.
